Actually, I'm really enjoying reading everything you're posting for FAD. :-D If you're looking for an idea, one of the things I have been looking forward to in this 'verse for some time is the conversation between Fingolfin and Buffy; I figure she will pick his brain as much as she can, considering he actually went into close combat against Morgoth and managed to wound him severely. That may be something you have plans for later down the road, though.

Hmm... I've been holding off on anything about Buffy in Aman. (There are plans, but I'd like to at least lay some of the groundwork first so it doesn't come out of left field. Some of that groundwork hopefully will happen in the next week or two.) But Buffy meeting Fingolfin might be doable without backstory.

Quite truthfully, anything you write in this series makes me a happy camper. :)

Also, I don't recall if I've commented on it or not, but I really love that icon of Buffy's crest.

I actually have the first meeting with Nolofinwë mostly written, but I'm holding onto it until I get some backstory filled in. Let me see if I can manage at least the setup before the end of Fic A Day. (I've been avoiding, because it's closely tied to Arwen's death. Suppose I should buck up and finally write it.)

Everything in this verse is amazing, but there are a few things I've been curious about. I'd love to see Maglor trying to explain the Scoobies to his brothers after Xander's visit in Mandos. I'd like to see more Nerdanel, after meeting Dawn and Erestor. And I'm massively curious about Dawn's pairing since you picked Maeglin for Buffy. But seriously, everything you write is fantastic, and getting more every August is such a gift. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Ha, I hadn't thought about Maglor trying to explain the Scoobies. That might have to happen!
I think you'll be pleased on the Dawn, Erestor, and Nerdanel front - I was working on some of that last night, but it didn't come together in time for the deadline. I'm not sure when I'll get it cleaned up to my satisfaction, but I'll be very surprised if it's not ready before the end of Fic A Day.

I feel the need to hint that anyone who is expecting Buffy/Maeglin has missed a crucial detail and should maybe take another look at Picking Up The Pieces. I think I better hurry up and write the discussion Buffy had with the Scoobies at some point before the Ring War...maybe that will clarify things. Either that or I have to suck it up and stop putting off writing Arwen's death/Buffy's journey West.
