I'm going to attempt a 12 days of Christmas fic spree again this year. Not sure how I'll do - I suspect the days I am off will be fine but days I'm working could get dicey.

If anyone's got things they've been hoping I'd write, feel free to suggest in the comments. (Anonymous comments are on but screened, so if there's anything you want to suggest and don't want me to know it was you, have at it.)

Caveat: I'm trying to avoid any big time skips forward in the DoC 'verse, so I won't be writing any Maedhros/Maglor/other Feanorion returning from the Halls.

Any chance you might be tempted to write about how the Finno vs Turno faceoff went? Or the next chapter of Picking u
up the Pieces? Turno has been in a traumatized state for almost two years now, poor guy...

I enthusiastically endorse the above comment, but I'd also put in a word for more Second Age Elrond/Celebrían courtship and hijinks. What we got was so much fun!

I made an account here to reply and follow. I missed last year’s 12 days but caught up later.

I gravitate to Anariel and I know you said you got a little rushed at the end of August and skipped forward a bit. Would love to see some of that time in Thingol’s court filled in. We didn’t get to see her first meeting with Thingol in Lorien and I’m interested to see what their culture looks like and how those personalities interact with Anariel, Arador, Solo, Legolas and the rest of their little group. The Sindar and Lindar are so different from the Noldor!

Also seconding some Picking Up the Pieces. Love seeing Artanis try to fit in with these strong personalities in her family and I hope for healing for Maeglin.

So how did Finwe end up in the room with all the Feanoreans? Maybe I missed that one.

Will be happy to read whatever you are moved to write!

First time Anariel meeting with Thingol is my favourite, but all the things mentioned by previous posters sound splendid.

Seriously, I’d be happy with anything you add to your previous stories or even something new (I loved your Willow digression in August). If you decide you want to go for something different, a “meanwhile, back at the ranch…” story with Giles and/or Spike in Sunnydale would be fantabulous! Or even a story from the point of view of TPTB. Regardless of what you wind up posting, Thank You!
