Word Count: 300
Note: Sorry, today was just as hectic as expected. Possibly tomorrow will be better.
Celegorm was no longer surprised by Tindomiel’s comings and goings – at least, not when they were under her control. The incident in which Namo had tried to use her to hide behind had been a bit of an eye-opener.
It was difficult to keep track of time in here, but he had the impression that hadn’t been all that long ago. So he was pleased to see the girl appear in the usual way.
“Hello,” he said cheerfully.
It was a small pleasure to have outlasted her ‘no talking to me’ ruling. He could, for instance, greet her like a normal person now.
“No popcorn this time?” Kano asked wryly.
“Nope,” she sighed. “Although there is an occasion in progress that’s probably popcorn-worthy. But I promised I wouldn’t sneak in. And using the Key to listen in even without being there would probably be breaking the spirit of the promise even if it’s technically the letter of it.”
She sounded downright mournful about it.
Celegorm was too busy marvelling at the possibilities for mischief the girl’s unusual ability opened up to scold her. He had other brothers who would doubtless handle that.
“Tindomiel,” Maitimo began, trying for stern even though he probably suspected it was no use, “what occasion are you so pointedly not spying on?”
“You remember how you told me to leave Grandpop Turvo to you?” she asked. “Well, Gramps decided that doesn’t apply to him and has gone to give his brother a talking-to.”
The smirk that went with the statement was downright wicked.
It was difficult to say which of his brothers looked more exasperated, Kano or Maitimo. Shame Curvo was missing this, off on his ongoing quest to track down Tyelpë. He would probably enjoy hearing that Turvo was getting part of his much-deserved comeuppance.

I'm well, no worries! Thank you!
