Yes, those are tomato seedlings. They came up in the empty planter that one of the tomato plants was in. It's sitting in the garage. Not sure if I should try bringing a few of them on or not.

Why not just try? One way to find out... ;op Last year, I had some tomato plants my sister grew from seeds in her first attempt. She started too early and, without a greenhouse, the plants grew too tall too quickly and had too weak stems. The worst one I cut off at the top after allowing a side sprout (?) to grow, which worked out fine. (Unfortunately she followed my example but didn't pay attention to side sprouts due to lack of experience and some stubbornness of the kind "how difficult can it be to grow tomatoes if mum and you are doing so well?" and essentially killed those plants). But I also had really bad issues with brown rot last year, and those plants I got from her suffered worst and were a complete loss, whereas I could at least grow a handful of fruit from the heritage plants I'd bought from the special nursery. I found it quite interesting to see the effects of the baby phase of the plants making such a difference.
