It's the first year I've noticed the berries. Ours won't be making way for anything - I never got them out of pots, but they've rooted so firmly to the ground through the pots I couldn't shift them! (Unfortunately, frost will probably do for them soon.)

Oh, that happened with my peppers and my sage! I usually overwinter my potted herbs outside on the patio slab, so I will have to try and get it all up. The sage I'd at least like to try and save. We'll see about the peppers.

If the lantanas survive tonight, I'm going to take a rake or shovel out and see if I can't get some lever action going to free them and bring them inside. (Otherwise, maybe I'll try planting the berries?)
