So, now that the collection is open, you can see why I was a little tuckered out toward the end of Fic a Day - I was also trying to finish up three of the four.
A Visit To The Dwarves - Young Maeglin receives two very special gifts for his begetting day.
12260 words, warning for discussion of the fate of the petty dwarves.
This Is Not The End - Caranthir and Haleth knew things would not be easy. But they didn't let that stop them. Caranthir/Haleth
5890 words, warning for character death.
The Making of a Prince - A look at Maeglin as he adjusts to the loss of his parents and his new life in Gondolin.
7450 words, warning for off-screen character deaths (Eöl and Aredhel)
Two Weddings & A Funeral - Lothíriel of Dol Amroth has gotten rather used to young men proposing to her, with or without a proper attempt at courtship first. She's also rather used to turning young men down. Enter the new king of Rohan... (Austen AU)
28000 words. Warnings: mention of recent character deaths (canon-compliant, immediate aftermath of the Ring War)
The last one is the one I cheerfully referred to as the 'behemoth' during writing, because it romped merrily past first 10k and then 20k and probably would have kept right on going had I not been up against a deadline!
