If it's unclear what's going on in that picture, try this one - it's a detail of the best photo I got of what the bird guide says is a Prothonotary Warbler.



(Alas, I was unable to get a photo of the other interesting yellow bird I saw today - and cannot find in the bird guide at all. So pretty - bright yellow head, grey body, white below - and pretty bold. He hung out on a branch right in front of me much longer than I expected. (Then again, maybe he just knew I couldn't very well take my hands off the paddle unless I wanted my life to get quite interesting.)

Yes, and very good at hide and seek - I had trouble getting a shot where you could see most of the bird!
