But the Mirror will also show things unbidden, and those are often stranger and more profitable than things which we wish to behold.

He may well be, but I wish the mirror had also shown him not to mess with snakes!

It does look like he's crying (or just zoned out). But who knows? Maybe he's seeing things that are, things that were, and some things that may yet come to be!
