P365, Day 264 - Warm Day

Warm day, need for a workout, and need to not go crowded places added up to 'take the kayak out'.


That may look lovely and green, but don't be fooled - the water is still cold. (I got a little overenthusiastic and opted for sandals instead of neoprene booties. Not a good choice.)

What a gorgeous day for a bit of kayaking, I'm glad you got to get your exercise outdoors.

A wetsuit for future cold weather kayaking might be a good investment. I'm a paranoid old safety fanatic, but the mere thought of getting dumped into water as cold as that must still be is a very chilling thought, pun very much intended.
