I'm still in awe of the huge piece sizes of puzzles you're doing! But I've never had the space to do more than 2000 pieces (as in, having sufficient flat surface I can occupy undisturbed for long enough) and even that was difficult. At least with my puzzle folder (?) I'm fine with 1000 pieces. I just started one of these Ravensburger Exit Room puzzles, have you heard of them? Only 760 pieces, but more difficult than I'd expected, as there are many very similar pieces. Also, due to the exit room game included, the image is somewhat different from the puzzle image, like items on the box aren't there on the puzzle or so.
It's all the one puzzle - it's the only huge one I've ever attempted, and the only way I had space enough to do it was to take the floor space I was going to get a couch for. (I'll get the couch. When I'm done the puzzle. Which will hopefully be by this summer!)
Crossed fingers, then! That's definitely a worthy motivation. But the box is for another large one, with 8000 pieces, or am I getting this also wrong? (Seems to be my night for being off the mark. *g*)
That's the box for the one I'm working on - I sometimes look at the picture on the front. (And there are still some pieces in the box - I don't have enough space to have all of them out yet!)
Oh, I'm very sorry, then I've really totally missed the mark! From what I've seen/remember so far of have seen of the puzzle, I'd thought of a completely different motif. Sorry!
The puzzle is the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Now that I look at the photo, you could be forgiven for thinking it was the cover of the magazine sitting on top of the box!
A magazine! Phew, thank you for looking at this again. I was honestly starting do doubt my visual memory as well as my skills at recognising something.... *ggg* Don't ask how often I've looked from the puzzle box in the image above to the actual puzzle. The "motif" was also why I was thinking you were doing another one. XD
