I caught it in a lull at Saturday lunchtime! It's actually rare to be in there with no other people in the retail section, never mind the working section. Also, I don't think there's enough space in Brooklyn for this place. The trees cover something like 800 acres, and this building - the processing facility/loading docks/tiny little retail outlet that is open seasonally and isn't advertised anywhere because locals just know about it, with a cash register that was already ancient when I was a kid, and that doesn't appear to have changed much in the last 70 years - is just a tiny part of it. (The working part is busier on weekdays.)
