I started a multi-chapter about Maeglin post-Gondolin that fits into Daughters of Celebrian. I'd say blame dawn_felagund because I looked at the SWG Just An Old-Fashioned Love Song challenge, saw NIN's Closer in the list of songs, and went "OMG, that's totally Maeglin and..." but I'd actually been turning over the notion for this story in my head for a while, so it's more that I'm finally getting around to actually writing it.(And no, I'm not giving away who "..." is just yet.)

Also, for anyone who's read By Dawn's Early Light and been wondering, I finally came up with a Quenya name for a certain sword. (Or what I hope is an acceptable Quenya name, anyway. I'm not much of a linguist.)
