I do feel for Huan here, he had been doing so good at Keeping An Eye On Anariel, until a maia got involved.
Unrelated to Huan, do we theorize that Dior chose mortality, or maia like Luthien? If maia can go to the Gift of Men, I (and probably Anariel, maybe Tindomiel) will start to have questions.
One that comes to mind is: if Morgoth is dead or Very Imprisoned, does that mean Tinu would be safe (from Morgoth) to use the Key to visit Lutien relatives? Maybe bring Dior back? I know everyone is expecting this to happen around the time of the second music, BUT if Anarya and Tinwë get impatient about "reuinite the family"... I forsee so, so, soooo many more headaches on Namo's part.
Even if Luthien and Beren stay in thr Gift of Men to "keep an eye on all their grandkids" (assuming there's some one off where someone can do a message run but then gets locked out until the Second Music, we mean it this time. I think it would be a fun chaos time for everyone to remember "oh shit, the peredhil started eith Luthien, and she did That"
Tinu maintains she is well behaved. Various grandparents and sinlings do and don't back her up on it.
