Whoops, missed posting yesterday. (In my defense, I had to work part of the day, which threw things off a bit.)
Day 7

This is my favorite new candle spinner. The description said the metal was silver, and I almost sent it back when I opened the package and found it was not. But it looks awesome lit up.
Day 8

Another one just started!
Day 9

The best parts of my day in a nutshell.
Day 10

Wags does not understand all the fuss about the power being out. Relaxing in a blanket fort is all in a day's work for him.
Day 11

It's an ill wind... check out the nifty fungi that would normally be up in the treetops.
Day 12

Discovered on the power out day that this weight looks kinda nifty lit up by candlelight.
Day 13

I spy, with my little eye... By the way, orchid novices, when I say a happy phal can bloom for months, I mean it. I got this plant in September. It was just coming into bloom when I got it. One spike of two is finished, but the second spike is still going pretty strong. It will probably finish late January to early February. (I would tell you what it is, but it has plainly been mis-tagged - tag says "color: orange yellow, large lip".)
