This is delightful! (I imagine every single Middle-Earth returnee with any urban experience has the same moment of being puzzled by Tirion; the gate attendants are probably used to it by now.) I'm especially amused by the impressive mental (and, uh, physical) gymnastics Anariel is doing in order to avoid the obvious expedient of asking her little sister (or presumably any of a dozen osanwë-fluent early risers among their relatives) for directions. Very, very Buffy.
