Holy Crap, Buffy has actually learned how to cook! Good food! Seriously though, I dearly loved this chapter. Poor Maeglin, it's going to take him a while to get used to Anariel and the same goes for the rest of the Aman relatives.
Actually, I don't think they'll get their "full Buffy experience" until the Dagor Dagorath, not even Tulkas. After all, she's only sparring with him, not going full out to annihilate him. Did Maglor or Glorfindel manage to actually see Anariel using a fleeing Balrog's own whip to chase it screaming and running away with its non-existent tail between its legs? If not, then no one will have even an inkling, since Ëarendil couldn't see for the cloud cover.
ETA: This entire chapter was made of awesome, but my favorite bit was the exchange between Anariel and Maeglin about him believing he was still in Angband after he died and had hidden away in the dark for literally two ages and then some. That her walking away in barely controlled rage reminded him so much of Fingolfin immediately after the Nirnaeth Arnoediad to go and confront Morgoth was especially good. Yep, that's our Buffy.
