Nah, a wetsuit would be over the top. I'm unlikely to tip - my kayak is pretty stable, and I don't lean out. (I have a reach tool for grabbing trash when I'm on a cleanup mission, and I keep the camera over the boat for obvious reasons.) I wear a life jacket mostly for my mom's peace of mind. (My standard answer to anyone who asks what I'm going to do if I ever do tip is "cuss extensively, because my phone will be wet." Should the unlikely ever come to pass at this time of year, the water temperature will merely add a fillip to the cussing.)
