P365, Day 191 - Ahead of Schedule

When I said a few days ago that there would be an orchidaceous P365 soon, I didn't expect it to be quite this soon. Meet L. Santa Barbara Sunset 'Showtime'. (Still not fully open yet - and I expect the color may develop a little more as well.) Either way, I'm thrilled. I did not buy this in flower - I bought it with the spike developing, and have been babying it ever since in the hopes of getting this far.

Isn't it gorgeous? I love this one. If the flower spikes weren't so stinking tall, I'd get more than one plant.

Thank you! This is one of my favorite orchids. Not sure yet if I'll get to do a P365 for the other one. (They usually flower late February/March. But right up until the flowers actually open, anything can go wrong...)
