They're tons of fun! I'm still into them, though I don't always get a new one every year. (I have several Playmobil calendars, and I've found I can mix and match the pieces to create new scenes. If I put them in the little boxes in January when I pack up the Christmas decs, by the time December rolls around I've completely forgotten what to expect in the boxes.) I've also made advent calendars for Niece and Nephew before.
