Do you need to have a Jack o'lantern to have a proper Halloween? I'm still sadly inadequate at the customs, despite this having become a semi-normal occurence in these parts, too. (Not that I'd sacrifice one of my precious Hokkadio squashes for the purpose, but we have a couple of deco options for the years I'm in the mood to decorate (which usually depends on the state of the house at the end of October and how much else I've got to do besides preparing for NaNo. This year, nothing happened as I was too sick.)
