This is what the view looks like from the parking lot of the local orchard that at this time of year is the area's finest purveyor of apples and cider (of the US variety - ie, non-alcoholic.)

Beautiful colors. I looked for some in our neighborhood today and did not find any.

I'm a bit surprised we have so much fall color happening - last year was kind of a dud, so I was expecting similar this year, but it's been fairly vivid!
