Question on today's photo: is that an ornamental allium, or one of the edible varieties? It looks like one of the large ornamentals, but I can't quite be sure. Also, you're making me want to go snip some of the chive blossoms for frying in tempura batter. Maybe tomorrow...

Glad to hear it! (Afraid the story posts are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, as I'm trying to get TRSB out of the way before Fic A Day commences.)

It's an ornamental, and not actually all that large - I just stood right over top of it. :)
