*g* Although I imagine they're perhaps sending it out so early to be the first seed catagogue people had, and might order seeds from? My mother used to start her tomato seedligns in February, and although she didn't order the seeds but bought them in the store. And the seed catalogues my husband is getting from various companies are all arriving around December or so.
(Now I also wish we had a better-suited-plot for tomtatos. I'd love to grow large varieties and some of the more unusual ones. But our garden is so windy and shadowy that I only really have good chances with very small and sturdy varieties. That might even change yet, considering the climate change... ;oP

Just looking at the tomatoes on the cover of that seed catalog is making my mouth water! I envy you being able to grow tomatoes, or anything else, for that matter. Unfortunately, the water here is so bad that it makes anything watered with it taste absolutely horrid, including tomatoes and strawberries (the two main things I've always wanted to grow). :-/ I use a Royal Doulton gravity filter for my drinking water and shower filters, but I don't know of anything that would work for the garden hose.
