Poor Namo, I don’t think he has a solitary clue about the psychological and emotional workings of non-ainur (or possibly even ainur, as he seems to me to have some Aspberger’s-like traits from what I’ve read in your stories above and beyond the Valarin detachment from the Children…though I could be dead wrong in both cases). Hopefully Anariel will remember the psych classes she took and will make the conversation more of an educational experience than a true ass chewing. Heaven knows the poor Vala needs some help with such things for the sake of his charges.
