Day 28


I met up with the fabulous jane_ways and may have slightly horrified her by ordering this at dinner. That is a burger covered with macaroni and cheese inside a grilled cheese sandwich. Yes, it is a handheld heart attack. But it was delicious.

Cheating slightly - I forgot to take any non-work related pictures today. So have another shot from the outing to the antique shop the day before.

Surprise orchid! C. Carribbean, which I was not expecting to flower. (I thought I was doing a decent job of keeping track which plants had potential flowers. I missed one.)

I'm so glad you got to meet up with her!

At Denny's a number of years ago was a "mozzerella sticks stuffed inside a grilled cheese" sandwich that I was tempted by but never was quite brave enough to order.

The ladybug is on the lower right side of the bud in the center of the photo.

I love the colors on the surprise orchid, and that sandwich looks delicious.

I was not at all horrified and actually quite impressed! It actually looked rather reasonable, all things considered.
