Love that Anariel is so interested in all of the plants and critters of Aman. Out of curiosity, did you base the yellow star apple on an actual plant? There is a book on the flora of Middle Earth and I've been meaning to pick that up, but haven't managed just yet.

Edited to add: also, thank you for mentioning the honeycreeper. I've been wanting to try my hand at yarn dying and the blues and yellow-greens of some of the honeycreepers would make for a truly lovely yarn. :)
