I like Buffy's strategy to deal with her new relatives: get them talking about themselves. It's not only going to temper the effects of Morgoth's attempt to use the things he did to members of her extended family against her, it's going to make that part of his plan backfire so spectacularly as to turn it into an equivalent of Tsar Bomba in her arsenal of emotional resolve.

Death by Chocolate is definitely an excellent remedy for emotional pain, at least it used to be for me (I can't stand that much sugar these days). I can imagine that is going to become a new thing not only in Lorien, but the rest of Valinor as well, the same way chocolate in general has become popular.
