P365, Day 133 - Camera Does Not See All The Colors Correctly

I haven't been retouching any of these photos, although I have cropped one or two. I may have to try adjusting the color on this one, as the camera refused to capture the full autumn glory of these leaves - it's making everything greener than it actually is and washing out the reds and oranges.

This is more like it:

Hm - might that have to do with the time of day you took the pic? In the late afternoon/early evening (as far as the natural light is concerned) I find I always have a surprising discrepancy between my own perception of colour and what the camera captures.

Speaking of colour, can you imagine that I took a pic with leaves of such colour in Germany? We had one glorious "Indian Summer" a couple of years back, and thanks to a visit in a botanical garden, trees with leaves to bring it fully out. (Copper beeches in the Botanical Garden in Heidelberg in this case).
